medical aid expects me to pay R1400+- for blood tests

<p>good day </p> <p> </p> <p>I am very unhappy about my medical aids cover. I went to the doctor two months ago and she ordered blood tests to be taken and test to be done. I went for the test and both the company that test my blood and the medical aid did not inform me that they would only cover R300+- of the bill. I have to now somehow come up with R1400 to pay. these were standard tests that were suppose to be done and I cannot understand how the medical cannot pay. what do I actually pay for each month. The medical aid just takes my money every month and fills their pockets but when you need them to come through for you they just say "WE DONT COVER THAT CODE" This is the second time this has happened to me. I received a call form a consultant at bankmed who said that he will try and get a motivational letter from the doctor and dispute it for me, that was a week ago and I have hear NOTHING. </p>
