Inconsistent and unreliable service

Before I post, if you care to fix this, please call and tell me it is fixed and not that you are sorry. I still have 5 sorry's left from the last time you called me.

I left BankMed on 30 April, and was informed by one of your consultants that a refund would be paid to me on the second Wednesday of September. I then called again and another person explained to me that the correct time frame would be after 5 months (meaning end of September), which is when they can release payments. She also informed me that the payment would be made on the second Wednesday of the month.

This morning, there was still no payment in my account. Following another call, another consultant said that this is not the case and the payment would be made midmonth (and specifically mentioned next week Wednesday). She then asked me to hold on the line to confirm the dates and said that it would be released on 14 October, and should clear in 2 working days – this is over the weekend so doubt it. She then asked that I call back next Wednesday if the refund is still not in.

Now you can understand my frustration in that this is the third person I am speaking to who is giving me their own version of things. Therefore, I would like to lay a complaint until this issue is solved. It is not nice to keep having to phone in only to be told something different each time.

I would therefore appreciate if my refund was paid today, as discussed, and you take it up with your consultants why they are inconsistent with their information. Failing to have the funds at the end of today, I am going to lodge a complaint with the Council for Medical Schemes. I cannot keep calling and hearing different stories every time I do.
