I made application on 01.09.17 still not activated

I mean really, when everybody is struggling to grow the business, Bankmed couldn't be bothered.

I made application on 01.09.17 submitted documents .... Still today my membership is not sorted.

I got a call the other day that i didn't complete the documents in full and I gave the information as requested and I was under the impression that everything was sorted. Then I got an SMS confirming that "my membership is activated I should await my package".

Few days down the line I got an email stating that my membership can't be activated due to my mom 's outstanding document i.e. previous medical aid membership certificate. I call Bankmed asking which is accurate between the SMS and email and I got told the email.

My question was that they have all mine and my son's details, why can't they activate my membership and add my mother 's details on a later stage? I mean it make sense as they have the main member's details the beneficiaries can be added later right? Can they withhold the activation of a membership because they don't have the additional members details? This doesn't make sense at all!!

I am still waiting. I told them I am tempted to go back to my Discovery as I never had such headache.
