Deserted at an hour of need.

To say that I’m disappointed will be an understatement, today I went to a hospital as my daughter needed medical attention.Only to be told by the admissions officer that they have struggling with bankmed for authorisation numbers for admissions. As the principal member I then called as I needed help my daughter needed medical attention. To my horror the consultant by the name of Thami told me that I should call after an hour as they have a system issue and cannot generate authorisation numbers.I then went to explain that this is an emergency, with an emotionless nor emphath in her voice she was like sorry call later to see if the system is working. Not even let me get a senior member or something let me see how we can help.I have been member 2006 paying premiums monthly and this is how I was treated today when I needed their help the most with my child.Only when I insisted that a senior manager gets involved I was given a reference number by the lady called Miengah to use until we have the authorising number. My question is what then if you do not insist to speak to someone senior, should the unthinkable happen first then be offered we are sorry mam ?I am disgusted on how the call was handled,I was not asking for an authorisation number for a normal doctors visit it was an emergency and it was not handled as such.
