Claims do not get processed

A claim was submitted to Discovery (administrating Bankmed medical aid) on 22 January 2016. On 17 Feb upon enquiring - I am told the claim has not been processed yet. <br> DOES IT TAKE ALMOST A MONTH TO PROCESS A CLAIM??<br> However, the dr's account submitted on the same day by the dr was paid within 2 days.... Medical Aids forget who is paying to keep them going? WHO is paying your salary??? The members....news flash!!
