Bankmed not for the people.

i am a member at bankmed medical aid. when i was pregnant bankmed offered 5 gynaecologist consultation. i needed more and my doctor wrote a motivation letter off which i submitted. i ended up paying for the consultations myself. only letter did i receive an email from bankmed after numerous complains to them. Only then did Bankmed ask me to send the results. By this time it was late because i had already started paying for my consultations.

This is when i realised that bankmed Core Saver Plan was USELESS.

But what can i say because its a must for me to belong to this scheme. now i find myslf again in health problems and now i know for a fact that Bankmed will not be able to assist me. their medical savings are just never enough to last a person for a full year. my doctor has found that i have heart valve abnormality. but i need to see a cardilogist to run the test and determine the extent of this abnormality. However, due to depleted funds in my medical aid. i know that i can't see the speclist because i do not have the money. I am now also having vision problems and its making it had for me to do my work because i can't see properly. I am not able to get spectacles because again " FUNDS DEPLTED" knowing my history with bankmed,. i knw i can never count on them in times of need. i have been to the goverment institution to seek for help and i am now on their waiting list to see the cardilogits. what saddens me is that Bankmed at the end of the month is still deducting their premiums. Before i was with Bankmed i was with Bonitas and it was the best. i never experienced what i am currently going through.

Core Saver benefits are just not for the people.
