Bankmed medical aid is a *******

I added my husband to the medical aid and agreed that the cover should start 1 may 2025 . However in may there was no deductions, that being said no one called and advised they are going to double deduct my salary and now I don't have money it's costing me R5000 out of my salary. Bankmed advised they are right to double debt me and if I want to cancel i will not get me premiums back but there is a waiting period and we did not use the medical aid for my husband, in this economy where must I go borrow money for someone who made a mistake by double debating me
