Bankmed is a **** - does not cover emergency visits to hospitals (DSPs)

Hello

My husband was admitted to the emergency room at a bankmed designated service provider (DSP).

Bankmed declined the claim and said it was because we did not get pre authorisation, they treated the claim as "dr visit in cosultation room" rejected. ***

In an emergency case, you shouldn’t have to phone to get pre authorisation to visit a DSP at 5:00am during an emergency.

Bankmed is a ****.

We're on core-saver. They do not cover medication!!! over R1000 They do not cover emergency room visits!!! R1017 + R259 They did not cover dental bills!!! R3600 for a root canal R1033 for the filling They did not cover glasses, not even the eye-test!!! R3600 with the cheapest frame

They are the biggest **** ever. I can't wait till December, when I can cancel this!!!
