Bankmed = Greed

I have been a member of Bankmed for 13 years and almost never use my medical aid. The past few days for the first time in my life I had some urgent medical challenges. I kept collapsing at work and do not know why. The Specialist recommended for me to be admitted to hospital for tests - however Bankmed made me wait over 3hrs for authorization only to DECLINE the request saying "they do not pay for being admitted to hospital for tests".

Unfortunately I am in a corner working for a bank and do not really have options (obviously they know this also)
