Dear Angela,

Thank you for your comment.

We've confirmed that the correct information has been supp**** to you. The company you are using is not registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF) and as such the monitor will not be paid. A registered provider such as Dischem needs to be used in order for us to review payment.

Feedback form Bankmed:

Query regarding a supplier for a Blood Pressure Monitor

We have tried to contact you regarding your query, unfortunately attempts have been unsuccessful.

We cannot allocate Omron with the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). This means that this supplier does not have a South African practice number. kindly provide us their practice number.

Additionally, the Blood Pressure Montior has to have a valid NAPPI code (National Pharmaceautical Product Index), kindly confirm the NAPPI code.

The item must also be purchased with a doctors’ prescription. Standard billing and claims rules will apply.

A Blood Pressure monitor is subject to the medical and surgical appliances limit of R 6120 per family, per annum. The Blood Pressure monitor has a sub-limit of R1450 per family, per annum.

Kindly be advised your limit is R1450

Go to get the monitoor, you only paid some 970, and I needed to pay the difference, again wrong info. The monitor costs 1199, you added an addiitonal 50, so I paid in 275.

Inof says yu pay 1450??????
