Beware of Banggood

I have bought several items from Banggood. Generally the prices are good, but quality is questionable. My warning to anybody wanting to buy goods from Banggood is that they don't honor warrantees. I bought some inverters and two of the units were faulty. One of them was very poorly assembled and had damaged components. The other one ran for a minute and started smoking. A capacitor failed and looks like some other components are burnt. I reported both the failures in the prescribed time and also sent video evidence of the faults Banggood have come back to me with several offers small cash compensation and an offer to cover local repair costs presumably less than the compensation. Never have I had to deal with a company who expects their clients to repair faulty goods. I've insisted they replace the faulty goods or refund the amounts as per their warranty. It appears Banggood don't honor the warrantee. Recently I've had more trouble with security camera bought, and again the standard response is for me to get the item locally repaired
