Banggood - Buyer Beware!
I have used Banggood with great success in the past but my most recent purchase has motivated me to write this review. I urge anyone thinking of buying from them to read this review first. 1. Be aware that no matter how many items you order - they will separate every item into an individual package. Each package will have duties and taxes levied on it upon entry (including multiple lots of shipping costs). South Africans are only "allowed" a certain number of imports before SARS starts asking you for an import permit . 2. No matter that the item states that taxes will not be payable in South Africa or that a box is ticked saying that import duties are covered in your price when you place your order - you will still be required to paid import duties and tax anyway 3. Be aware that - if they make a mistake on the invoice that they send with your package maintaining that the contents are 4 times more expensive than they actually were - they refuse to liaise with the shippers to fix the paperwork. The shippers refuse to accept a corrected invoice without a punitive charge for the extra work it causes them - and Banggood's solution is for the shipper (who they will not communicate with) to return the parcel using their internal tracking system. Only once this has been done will they consider refunding you. In short - an item that cost R270 had duties of over R400 plus an extra amount of over R900 if I wanted to have the duties corrected. R270 lights would end up costing over R1500. Do not shop at Banggood - they used to be excellent - they aren't anymore.

It WORKED! I'm more surprised than anyone. I spent R750 as a test purchase, my parcel seemed to clear customs 2 weeks ago then no more progress. I used the banggood chat feature and was asked to wait until the delivery period had expired. I rolled my eyes and figured that wasn't gonna happen...who's is buffalo courier in SA?? But today I got a whatsapp, and the parcel arrived. 24 days, and well ahead of the promised 44 days. So felt I had to come here and comment.

My Daughter ordered a keyboard from these unprincipled, inefficient, unreliable people. They will not answer emails at all. They will not send the product which cost well over R1000.00 of her hard earned packet money. The goods were paid for way back in February. I am at my wits end with this. I do not advise anyone dealing with this terrible Company.

Only response received is that a representative will contact you soon. Still waiting since then. I would never ever recommend anyone to waste their valuable money on a fraudulent website like this.

I ordered a lazer pointer from Banggood. The estimated shipping date kept on being pushed back. I contacted them later on and asked them when this product will be shipped. Every two weeks I would ask them when it will come and every two weeks they told me that it will come in 2 weeks. I patiently waited for 4 months but it never came. One day I was infuriated to see that they refunded my order. I was so angry. The price of the product had gone up since I last ordered it. They told me if I want the product I have to buy it again. This is unacceptable. I asked for them to refund my banggood points and I bought a lazer pointer from Takealot.

After my previous experience with Wish and loosing money buying from a Chinese company, I was truly hesitant to put my foot in it again. A friend had success with Banggood.com, so I gave them a try. I have now ordered three times from them with great success. Once some items was seriously delayed and I communicated directly with their agents. They split the order and stopped the delayed items.
My most recent purchase was ordered on 28 April. It was delivered today, 12 May. I am certainly very impressed with their constant good service.

We bought a Nespresso Essenza mini for my daughter . It has been sent back 3 times. Coffee still tastes like metal. Obviously the technical team does not taste the coffee.

Vape King disgraceful customer service.
I took my vape in yesterday because there was a fault with my vape, The Assistants there said it cannot be replaced because the box did not have its sleeve on, then after arguing with them about how I do not have the sleeve they decided to help and have a look at my warrantee. They then said to me my warrantee is 5 days out of its warrantee, I bought the Vape in May and it is now August. I then decided to take it up to head office, where I received terrible assistance and communication.
Vape King tries to find any issues to not help you with faulty products in order to save themselves money. This was a manufacturing and warehousing fault and still they have not helped me with anything.
This will be my last experience with Vape King because I am not going to support a company who won't even try help or assist faithful customers.
I strongly advise everyone to take their business elsewhere to support companies in these trying times that will help their faithful customers and give a beneficial service.

I have placed an online order for the Air Jorda Retro 1 @08:55 21st August, date of release for this sneaker. Order was confirmed , payment went off. This morning I receive an email stating that due to high demand they were unable to source this sneaker from any of their stores. My orders was placed well in advance, some of the shops is not even open at that time, so HOW DOES YOUR SYSTEM WORK??? And I placed it online knowing that it is high in demand and i would not make it in time for purchasing at a store. Also I struggled to place the order at first because it was in the calender still at 08:00 throughout and went back in to check everytime until finally it was there. It is so frustrating and I will think twice to ever order from TFG again.

Why is it so hard for one to get his/her settlement letter.... Now that I want to settle my account I am having difficulties doing so. I tried all departments of Homechoice and worse part of it is that SSDA Recoveries which they say they handed over my account to, they know nothing nor have record of my Homechoice account handed over to them and it's been two days now with no luck or way forward. I am very disappointed at Homechoice.

It is a pity we cannot rate -10. I have been trying for over a year to get any feedback from this company regarding my Hollard Funeral policy. This company went bang for a reason. I as well as my lawyers have been requesting a statement of monies paid and owed, without any result!! I strongly recommend you do not deal with this store/company when it comes to insurance.

Can someone explain to me the poor service rendered at Maponya Mall
My cousin went to ask to withdraw her Nsfas money and she was advised to go to Fourways as they don't render those services.
Where must these students get the money to go as far as Fourwwhile they live in Soweto?
This is the same money that pays your salaries. So what is different or special about Fourways service that you guys at Maponya cannot learn and offer the services?
If this is how you treat your customers, then you all need training kn customer care.
She had to go back home hungry while she had money.
If you dobtvoffer those services then, when are you planning to look into serving your Soweto customers with such services and why does it take us to complain for your company to see the needs of Soweto residents?
Whoever is responsible for your Marketing department surely have a strategy to reconsider yazi
