Taking the Bang our of B & O

This is the most bizarre experience from a company that regard themselves as the global leader in the premium audio visual market. Be careful you don't waste your money!!!!

My wife bought Beoplay M5 speaker from B & O Waterfront Cape Town. After problems with the speaker and having returned it, their verbatim response was "We tested the unit with several tracks and the M5 was performing well and up to standard, however, when we placed the unit on a wooden surface (as this is how it is placed in his home) and tested the tracks as supp**** and requested by "the customer", we found that due to the high level of bass in these sound tracks (listed below) the unit did vibrate and move slightly and due to the vibration, the quality of the sound was a bit distorted. "

Despite conceding quality problems as above - they offered to trade the unit in at approx half the value if i purchased a much more expensive unit. Unbelievable that they could think this was a fair solution.
