Banbric Construction

We used Willem Grobler from Banbric construction to build us a ****s/ garage unit and a garden flat. He ran months over on the project and sometimes wouldn't turn up for weeks. At first he seemed like a really trustworthy, honest man. He kept lying to us and trying to find different ways to get us to pay him more money. Unfortunately we paid him most of the money upfront. One day his workers approached us and told us that they hadn't been paid in over two months and Willem had told them this was because he hadn't been paid by us. We showed them proof of all the payments and they told us that he often takes money from people and doesn't complete the work. We paid him 80% of the money for the project and he walked off the job without completing even half of it. The half that he did do all had to be rebuilt because the standard of the work was so poor. What's worse is that I recommended him to my parents who used him to do some waterproofing, all of which has had to be redone. He is a really convincing ****** whose work is not up to standards. I am investigating what building associations I can report him to.
