Undue delay in refund of car hire deposit

I hired a car from this concern on 12 October 2015. I haven't received a refund of the car hire deposit to date. I inquired with them after one week and was told it takes 14 working days. After the 14 working days they started giving me the run arounds. I am fearing the business is not sound and they have used my money and can't repay it. I feel their excuses for the delay are blatant lies: 1. The person who is authorised to do eft payments to customers is out of office for 3 weeks. 2. An alternative method to effect the refund will take 10 working days before the money reflects in my account.
