Waterlogged garden - Poor drainage
I moved into De Aan-Zicht in the middle of this year. When it rained, the drainage in our garden area was very poor and we had puddles of water all over for days. I couldn't walk on the grass with clean shoes. The foreman came to inspect within the 3 month snag period as I noticed my outlet pipe was covered and there was no pipe on the external wall where the water will then exit into a drain on the external path. Now all other units have this in place and it is working. I am very unhappy with the solution that the foreman recommended and implemented as it is still not working today. I have a waterlogged backyard and I cannot walk on my grass. Please sort this out Balwin Properties.

13 Dec 2022, 19:10To add to this, I also logged a complaint to Landsdowne who is the estate management team looking after this complex. The refuse bin area is right outside our block and it's a disgusting site. We have a never ending war with green flies in our apartment and we cannot even open our windows anymore. I have to spray out doom all day and I have a young child. The lady at Landsdowne put me in contact with someone else who never even bothered to respond on the mail. Balwin Properties, I bought this unit. Please can you assist in getting this sorted out somehow? Flies are just a disgusting site and these are green flies. The refuse areas have to be moved to somewhere else or something has to happen. I don't want to be forced to sell my place as I doubt I can hang fly traps on on the external of the unit. It'll just be a sick site for those looking at buying in future.
