Occupational rent

I took occupation of my unit end of September 2021 which was supposed to be ready in July 2021. Till today January 2022 the bound hasn't been registered under my name. I am paying occupational rent and I haven't received any communication from the property developer as to how far the registration is or why the unit is not registered under my name as yet. The only time I receive communication is to inform me that my rent is due. The aim was not to rent but to buy. I feel like they are prolonging is process because they are getting money from us. This money should be going towards my home loan. I regret buying from them
