Deposit Refund!!!!

<p>Good day,</p> <p> </p> <p>It is a struggle from the 08th June to try to get my deposit paid back from Balwin Properties. We moved out on the 31st May after the inspection was done with no damages. The Rental Tribunal Western Cape states: - If there are no damages, the deposit must be refunded within 7 days of expiry of the lease. The Tribunal also state: Landlords also need to know that a clause in their lease agreement providing the deposit refund of 30 days is not legal either. After complaining several times to send me proof of deposit repayment, Balwin let me know that there is a water account of R2466.29 for May. Never before the water account was even near that much. Also struggle after moving in with a leak in the shower that has been fixed after six months.
