De Zicht Deposit Refund Unpaid

I stayed at De Zicht in Cape Town for two years and was a model tenant. I was never late with my rental and paid my deposit in full before moving in. I would expect that they would give me the same courtesy when I finally moved out of my apartment but I moved out at the end of February, it is now May and my deposit is still unpaid.

No one arrived to my out inspection and they had to do the inspection themselves after revoking my access to De Zicht when I moved out. Never mind how horribly the security guards treated me the day I went to drop off my keys so they can do the inspection. They finally did the inspection, a whole month later they wanted to tell me my apartment was not clean.

After a serious and tedious back and forth with them they agreed to pay back my money in its entirety, which I was happy about and didn't even question why my deposit was being returned as is as if it wasn't in an interest-bearing account for two years. I have now been waiting for 2 weeks for the deposit to actually be paid into my account. Chante Kruger has been an awful client liaison, who never replies to emails and makes false promises.
