Balwin properties The Waterfall Polofields: poor quality
I bought a property at the Waterfall Polofields for investment. However since I took occupancy of the property more than 2 years ago, there has been a series of problems with the unit. 1. The plumbing upstairs started flooding into my unit. 2. The walls are cracking 3. The bath tubs leak 4. The bedrooms walls are full of damp 5. The lights keep failing 6. The roof leaks badly wherever it rains 7. The wooden cabinets rot due to moisture
I have raised numerous complaints to Balwin about these issues but they simply come and paint over or replace the affected parts and the same problems reoccur after a few weeks.
The cabinets have been replaced 3 times already and the current ones are all rotten within a few weeks. The walls have been repainted more than twice and they are damp all over again.
The bath tubs have been fixed at least 4 times but after use they leak. Balwin Plumbers commented that they use cheap connectors and hence due to the pressure of the bath tub they crack after a few weeks/ months and will need to be replaced.
I have lost 14 months of rental income due to tenants moving out or new tenants not moving in when they see the poor quality of the unit.
