Balwin Atrocities - The Polofields, Waterfall

This is my second review of so called Balwin properties prestigious development, The polofieds, at Waterfall.

This is a humble request to all the buyers, young couples, retirees, people buying for investment, DO NOT buy a property here. You will only regret the decision as I am painfully regretting right now. There are numerous issues in the complex. Right from leaking roof to gross negligence from the management.

Firstly let us talk about leaking roof. After few months we moved in our main bedroom roof was leaking as a result it damaged the wall paper and the bedroom was flooded. Balwin attented to the fault, fixed it (well they thought they did) and replaced the wall paper, which took more than 2 months while we had to sleep in a bedroom with a defaced wall. That is not the end of the story. The same issue happened again and fortunately this time there weren't any damages however the very competent (I am being sarcastic here) staff/workers of Balwin properties fixed the issue again (well they were delusional once again) and this time the supervisor guranteed the issue is fixed once and for all and it won't happen again. Surpirse, Surprise the leak happened once again, same bedroom, same place. This time they admitted it is a bigger issue and they have to retile the apartment above us and we are not the only people with the problem there are many more apartments with the same issue. This goes to show the quality of labour.

Second issue that happend on the 24th of January 2022. To give some context, we have a whatsapp group where all notifications are sent but our esteemed Balwin property management (Sarcasm again) for some weird reason did not think it is important to notify the residents of a planned maintenance that resulted in few blocks in the complex without power/electricity. I don't think they give a flying duck to the inconvenience it might cause the residents, especially when most of us work from home. On top of this - they weren't even aware of the planned maintenance. Damn, they have an office with two staffs and all the gadgets they need to do their work diligently but yet they failed. It is all bling and no substance. Just an eye candy to attract youngesters. All the ameneties they brag about - restaurants, lounge etc is useless when the place where you spend majority of time, your home, is uninhabitable. If any of you want proof, I have enough to show you, from Whatsapp messages to email communications.

I am not ranting because I got something against Balwin. I wouldn't have bought a property in the first place if I did. I just don't want people (new buyers) to suffer. You are more than welcome to contact me privately or even publicly. I don't mind sharing my details including the unit number. I want Balwin management to know there is someone in their complex who don't take nonsense.

I wouldn't have written another negative review if not for the power outage incident that happened today. It was too much for me to handle when I didn't get a response from the management. I am confident this won't be my last negative review as Balwin will not fail to give me ample opportunities to expose their incapacities to get things right.

By the way, I am going to request HelloPeter to come up with an idea to give negative stars because I was genuinely feeling guilty to give them a one star rating because I don't have another choice.
