Rude and condescending Waiter at your front desk!

Friday 26 January 2024 we went to go buy food at this restaurant for take away. We get there we place our order and the guy at the front tells us to take the one that is already packed and on the front desk. I further ask him why is it sitting there and why must I be there one to take it. I then request for a freshly made order as I can't take an order that I don't know how long has been sitting there for and even one of the guys (his colleagues) agreed with me.

He takes the plastic of the order that was already sitting there and goes with it to the back and comes right back out with it, how I noticed the plastic was it was cringled and he came out smiling with a smirk 😏 speaking in telling someone at the back that "that I wouldn't even tell if its that order".

I asked him then why did he take the packet that was here go to the back and bring it back out for me and say what he said. He then told me I must do what I want and go to the small window that shows the chefs in the back preparing the food and that's where I ordered my food.

Now come to payment I ask him to take half the payment from my card and the other half is cash.

He tells me he can't do that as the machine is programmed. My colleague then gets fed up with him and so did I as we asked him to call the manager and only then did he assist with payment.

I didn't enjoy that lunch at all cause of how disappointed I was in the black on black service I got from that man and for him to speak in Shona and be rude and tell me the lies he did making me a fool.

I am super disappointed as a company we always go to Baluchis with even our client meetings and say the best we can.

If not we are usually booked with Vernacular or Thathu right next to them. I am super disappointed would never ever recommend this place to anyone not even my close Indian friends!
