WORST BOOKING EXPERIENCE. ENDED UP POLICE STATION! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT

Book via Bookings.com. Our card declined as a result of security measure from bank. We stayed the first night & paid first thing in the morning at 08h00, payment confirmation was sent via SMS from the bank. Later in the day at 21h30 the caretaker knocked on our door demanding proof of payment. It was very intrusive. On the next day the owner mentioned how she has been sent **** PoP by black guests, I then opened the banking app and asked her to type in her email address and send to herself. Safety, Police & Accusation of theft.

At 03h30 we were sleeping and the house alarm went off. Later at 05h00 I went down to close a beeping fridge, I then discovered that the alarm was triggered by a break in. When we were checking out (08h30) the owners parked us in & informed us that they had called the police as we were suspects in the crime. We waited for the police until 11h30 & went to the police station to present ourselves. The owners arrived at the station & our car bags was searched. This was extremely humiliating & we left the police station at 13h00.

The police & estate security later informed us how the area is riddled with break ins. However the owner Moud was had no care for our safety and wanted our fingerprints taken. Save your sanity & money by NOT BOOKING THIS PLACE!
