Bad Truck Driver

When ever you are on the road and you see a Baksteen Mel truck , get off or go the other way!!! They ignore road signs, and if in the event that you do adhere to the road signs, and a Baksteen Mel truck (BR 13 JW GP) bump into you and cause damage, he will just hoot, wave and drive off. This is what happened to my wife in September 2018.

My wife signaled him to stop, but, he just drove off, never to be seen again. Next day my wife phoned Baksteen Mel and they confirmed that it was indeed their truck. Matter was handed over to their insurance and needless to say, they will not pay for the damages to the ammount of about R12000. Nor will Baksteen Mel take responsibility for the accident. They did not even offer to pay the access if we wanted our insurance to repair the car.

After another phone call to Baksteen Mel, my wife was told that Management instructed their employees not to talk to my wife anymore.

So it seems to me that their truck drivers are allowed to drive as they want, with NO consequences. Obviously no ethics at Baksteen Mel to do the right thing.
