Bacon Kips Disappointing new recipe/flavour/size

I purchased a box of Bacon Kips this weekend from Checkers in Boksburg. I noticed that aside from the packaging change was the change in kips quality (my previous box had the new packaging, but seems the low quality was snuck in afterwards), they are thinner, with almost zero taste. Why did this recipe/size change and there is zero communication with the clients. They are now no better than a dry packet of crackers. Lost a very loyal customer, very disappointed.
