FUSTRATED AND DISSAPPOINTED

The worst after sales service ever. Purchased a BAIC from Aksons Pietermaritzburg in June 2023. From the onset my experience was so bad I dealt with Junaid the salesperson as my husband enquired about this vehicle via the facebook add. Yusuf got back to my husband. A meeting was set up and upon arrival Yusuf had Junaid with him and waited for us to arrive. How can you give us a salesperson that knows jack **** about the vehicle. Our delivery was not exciting at all. It was the most rushed deal ever as it was his month end and he was pushing for his comm. Not even a congrats gift, not that I needed one but when you look at other dealerships and how people receive their vehicles, this was far from that. I mean very far. From day one I have huge issues with the sensors. It took them over six months to fiddle each time i took the vehicle in. It is almost 2 years and that issue is not yet resolved. Since last year I have been having issues with the keys. Took it in numerous times and to no avail. All that i was told that the key needs to be reset. Still nothing done after months. One set of keys that suppose to be the spare keys is dead. Does not work at all. Me being a female that is on the road most of the day experiences such problems. On tuesday 25th February I was locked outside my car for 2 hours. The key was in the vehicle and the vehicle could not read the the key. I have this continuosly while driving as well whereby the dash it says key not found yet the key is right there. I took the vehicle back to Aksons on Wednesday the 26 February and spoke to the owner and after me explaining my fustrations, he wanted to sell me the 2025 model. How stupid does Aksons really think I am. Today the 27th February i was once again locked out my car with the key inside. I could not make it to fetch my child from school. I spent over 30 mins trying to organize a lift for my child. We are paying alot for these cars and to receive this service. In my opinion dont go for BAIC cos after sales is absolutely shocking. These are brand new cars that are still on warranty and the dealership cannot help. Maybe they just hoping and waiting for warranty to end. I will never trust BAIC again. I am now looking at replacing this car. I drove a Kia Sportage before this and the service I received from Kia is chalk and cheese to what I am currently receiving. Absolutely disappointing. STAY AWAY FROM BAIC.
