BAIC Beijing X55 Trimming Issues - Peeling Silver Trimming

I purchased my BAIC Beijing X55 in December 2022. Everything was fine until recently when the interior silver trimming began peeling off. I took my car to BAIC Kempton Park, and they claimed to submit a warranty claim on my behalf. However, BAIC SA declined the claim, stating that the warranty for the trimming is only valid for one year.

Now, all the silver trimming is peeling—from the area where I start the car to the driver's side buttons and more. After less than 18 months of owning the vehicle, I’m expected to pay for these issues.
