1year +3 Months (15months) without my X55! BAIC Can't Help!

I bought the X55 cash in December 2022, had an accident in March 2023. My car is still not fixed since then the parts are either on back order or estimated arrival date unknown!

It's been more than a year now without a car. I contacted BAIC South Africa all these months with no success they don't even respond on Facebook nor do they answer their calls. All this time! The Panelbeater that's in possession of my car, Bruces Panel Shop in PMB is doing their level best to resolve the matter, going out of their way to push for delivery of the parts. Parts come in different dates and those that come are not a complete set. For instance, BAIC knows the rear bumper has sensors but when they sent the bumper, it had no wiring, no module, no sensors, no bracket, we had to order that separately and wait for more months. Finally, some of those arrived but still no bracket!!! I had to contact BAIC Global whom they also were no use after promising they'll handle my matter they never bothered. With the bracket, now we are told my car is not the South African BAIC X55 coz the X55s that were lined up for South Africa do not come with brackets yet on the database or whatever they use VIN Number to check, it appears that my car came with the bracket. So, it's like now I have to carry the burden that they gave me a car that was not supposed to be South African in the first place.

After countless attempts to reach BAIC South Africa, I finally reached them yesterday (14/05/24) they told me the same thing and that there is no expected date to get the missing bracket. When I asked for a courtesy car at least because I have waited for too long without a car, told me they can't help with that I should search for any nearest dealership that offers courtesy cars. The dealership where I bought the car does not, they're telling me to speak to a Panelbeater.

This whole thing with BAIC and after service is very terrible, it's a nightmare!!! The whole 15months without a car that was bought cash is crazy!!
