Purity and Ella's expired products on shelf

So we have all heard about the bad customer service at the Baby City in Pavilion but now they have outdone themselves. Expired Purity and Fruit smoothies on their shelves. I purchased a few items last week and went to return them today. Before I spoke to the manager I went to inspect the shelves and the expired items are still there. The manager off course went to inspect the shelf...while I waited. Then came back and said that he will refund me. Not on my entire purchase but just on the bottles that I'm returning. Why would I have kept the empty bottles when I didn't know that they were expired. I added that my baby is now sick because he had eaten a few. I asked if he is going to pay my baby's doctor bill and an unsympathetic answer 'unfortunately...' I obviously knew that he wouldn't but I just wanted some sincerity and an apology. The items had expired in the beginning of April. I even wanted some remorse from him for the other innocent babies that consumed his expired products. I think that I got more sentiment from the cashier. He did not apologise or take any responsibility. I would like to know if him as a parent would have accepted his response that he had given me. <br>
