Disappointing service

I'm very disappointed,shocked and speechless with the service I received from BabyCity.I received a Humidifier as a baby shower present and when I opened it to use it ,it was damaged.We returned the product to ParkMeadows branch and were told that we had to pay a fee to repair the item. Do note that The item has never been used and the box was never opened until the day I decided to use it.BabyCity sold us a damaged product and they refuse to acknowledge it.Instead of acknowledging that they sold a DAMANGED the gentlemanl had Headoffice even had the audacity to say that I damaged the humidifier. He was implying that I was dishonest when I told him that I hadn't used the humidifier until that day.<br> My advice to anyone buying from BabyCity check the item at the shop to make sure that it's in 100% working condition because when you discover later that the item is defective they will not take responsibility for selling you a damaged item.So now I'm stuck with a defective humidifier from BabyCity . <br> Very disappointing indeed.
