Baby city refused a refund

Baby city has been around for decades and is slowly devaluing customers.

My brother had purchased three cans of S26 gold and a box of bottles for my two year old daughter Gabriella .

Little did he realise that Gabriella has two sets of the nuk baby bottles and is now out growing bottles and drinking formula . So he had decided to give me the receipt and asked that I return it and take back the cash and get my little one a pleasant gift.

I had visited the umhlanga branch to return the goods as it has not been more than 7 working days and the goods was in the original packaging and not opened .

I had spoken to the store manager who denied me a cash refund I had then spoken to Roshnee Chetty from the head office .. And it's very sad to say that I was not given a refund .

Now I had returned many things I have purchased prior to this incident and I had received a full cash refund .

Roshnee was very rude and refused to understand that I as the customer did not wish to get a gift card has I did not want to purchase any thing from this store ever again due to the rudeness and unacceptable behavior from the managers and head office .

This vailates my right has a South African as I had returned the goods within 7 days in it's original condition and I produced a receipt of the purchase .

This is a very unprofessional business operation .
