Baby City Bloemfontein Waterfront

I went to Baby city in Bloemfontein Waterfront and asked for help from one of their female staff for a bottle warmer . The lady recommended a grey bottle warmer with a silver covering foil inside. The Nanny complained that the bottle warmer doesn't keep the baby`s bottle warmer it make it even cold . I went to to the store ,asked for the manager and explained the problem. She was not willing to help and said the item was not in its original packaging ,i said when i bought the item it was hanged on the rod without any packaging and she was well aware and she refused to take it or exchange it. it was a long argument and suddenly she called the colored guy who was apparently the Security supervisor accompanied by two security guards. So I was like now a person who was like a ******** at that stage. Then came a white lady who exchanged the item and the store manager was so nice to the white lady even assisted he to exchange the item. I said now this is racial special treatment and that customer never spent 10 min in the store.

My rights as the consumer were violated and i felt Baby City manager was a ******s and a delinquent. This issue should be followed and the store manger must be brought to book. I got witnesses who saw this incident when it happened
