Baby City and their Unmagical Sale

I’ve purchased a baby things beside me co-sleeper online on (28/05) during the baby city magical sale.

After a few days I received an email stating that shipment will be delayed by 5-7 working days which was still fine by me as we require this co-sleeper by mid June.

I then get an email a day ago (01/06) from Linda at Baby City Hillcrest stating that this product is out of stock throughout KZN. This is unsatisfactory and very frustrating as we purchased it during the sale period and expect to have a product at that price especially since it allowed us to checkout. We also unfortunately lost out on similar products from another store having a sale at the same time as we assumed to be receiving the baby things product. Linda at baby city Hillcrest was also not very understanding or accommodating as she offered a base model on the shelf for the same price or a camp cot in which neither of them meet the expectation of the product we purchased online. Upon expressing this it was almost forced that a refund will be completed.

The Baby City website still allows me to currently purchase the same product at their now reduced price however this is not at the discounted price during the magical sale. It is still giving me the option of collecting in store including stores in KZN such as pavilion, Springfield and Umhlanga. My understanding is that if this product was out of stock it should state so on the website and not allow me to proceed with payment.

I would appreciate if I could receive my sealed item at the price I purchased it for during the magical sale possibly before the birth of my baby being mid June.
