The Manager Shaun at baby boom displayed poor service by making promises and not keeping them

We purchased a baby compactum at the baby boom bay West branch on lay bye. On the last day of payment Friday the 1st of December we were told that our baby bath set had been sold after being promised that it had been reserved for us . We went all the way to bay West mall to collect the product and wasted our time and money as the product was no longer available . After talking to the manager Shaun , he promised that he would order the product on Monday the 4th of December, and that he would deliver it directly to us. At 4pm I decided to call the store as i have not heard from shaun at all and found out that Shaun was on leave and he had made no arrangements with other staff members to fulfill his promise . This deeply upset me as I realised he knowingly **** to me about ordering the product on Monday as he knew he would be on leave . We then proceeded to the store and to get a full refund for the purchase. After having this experience I highly doubt that I would shop at baby boom bay West and I don't even think I would recommend the store to anyone.
