Extremely Disappointing Experience with Babadoo & Company Designs

I recently embarked on what was supposed to be an exciting journey for a tailor-made suit with Babadoo & Company Designs, with high hopes of attaining a next-level look. Unfortunately, my experience with this establishment, particularly with the owner Chantel Human, has been nothing short of a nightmare. I feel compelled to share my grievances to caution others considering their services.

Here are some major issues I encountered: 1. Disregard for Appointments: Meetings and fittings were often canceled abruptly, showing a complete lack of regard for my time and schedule. 2. Extended Delays: Despite paying in May, I endured months of waiting for my suit to be completed, leading to unnecessary frustration and disappointment. 3. Unjustified Additional Charges: Chantel Human attempted to charge me more than the initially agreed-upon amount, citing exceeded "labor hours" as the reason for the increase. 4. Misinterpretation of Request: I specifically requested a work suit, but received an evening suit instead, reflecting a fundamental failure to comprehend my preferences. 5. Poor Quality Workmanship: The final product's quality was so subpar that I promptly returned it. (Refer to the attached photos for a firsthand look at the issues.) 6. Non-Delivery of Final Product: Despite placing my order in May, as of November, I have yet to receive the final suit, compounding the frustration and inconvenience. 7. Refusal to Refund: Shockingly, Chantel Human has refused to reimburse me for the R 11,499.00 I spent, leaving me with nothing to show for my substantial investment. I strongly caution anyone considering Babadoo & Company Designs to think twice before entrusting them with such an important and personal endeavor. My experience has been not only disheartening but financially detrimental, and I hope this review serves as a warning to others seeking a reliable and reputable tailor for their bespoke needs.
