BA transferrals AKA Billy lightfood ****s people

This was probably one of the worst experiences i've had in my life. (20 August 2024) I never thought I would be ****med. But this is how it happened. We we're looking for a company to assist us with our move. We found Billy Lightfoot advertising with positive reviews. We did our homework.. googled BA transferrals and checked with a lady on facebook that promoted him, which we found out now is part of his ****. Everything looked good, until the day of the move. Billy l Lightfoot follows the same tactic with every client that he ****s. On the day of the move, they did not show up as per arranged time. Then he said the truck had to change a tyre. Then he said the truck is late. And the excuses just started piling up. Then he sent a truck that is clearly too small for the furniture we listed. By now its 4 pm. When they started loading we started complaining. When we called him.. he said we didnt declare all our items. We asked him what didnt we declare? But he couldnt answer. Then he says they put our items through a computer and that says what size truck they must use. We keep on declaring the list is exactly what we we have. By 5pm.. he switches of his phone.. then we have to deal with the driver. then the driver tells us he knows someone that can help, but it will cost R2400. And here it starts. We were in tears already by now.. we had to fly out the next morning. The moving guys already started to ***** our cell phone cables that we used to charge our phones. Then the driver says, they can only help with the next load the next morning, when we are already on the plane. So we had to leave keys for them to access our home. So the next morning, they moved the last things out and also decided to change wash basin pipes with faulty ones. when the next people moved in, suddenly pipes started leaking that never leaked before. When we got to offloading in Oudtshoorn we were absolutely shocked. Furniture was damaged, boxes were opened, clothes were ******. And the guys offloading said that it was like this when they picked it up in Johannesburg. Carpets were ******, curtains were ******. Lawnmower engines were opened and stripped from parts. An industrial sewing machine was stripped from fan belts and oil filters. The damage was crazy. They literally went on a shopping spree, taking everything they could carry. We were absolutely horrified. My partner immediately contacted Billy but "I will look into it" ended up in nothing. Clients are in tears with what he is doing and he laughs it off. He is a ****mer and he *****s peoples' belongings while he charges them. This is the worst experience we've ever had. This guy needs to be locked up. He just keeps on ****ming more and more people.
