Never use this mechanic

During November 2015 my son's car blew its turbo. I subsequently took it to a turbo specialist in Johannesburg to do an assessment and advise way forward. This turbo specialist advised the turbo can be repaired and advised what his costs would be. Up to this stage I was happy. However, this company referred me to a mechanic at B Tech Auto who could do the work in terms of removing the turbo and replacing it once repaired. I went to this mechanic and discussed the problem with him and he advised that such a job would take at least 3 days. Still I was happy and agreed I will bring the vehicle to him the next few days so he can start.<br> It is now January 2016 and the vehicle has been at his workshop ever since. As he has gone along he has apparently found all kinds of problems and issues that need to be repaired like the head being warped, intercooler etc etc. Now that all has been done and put back together the vehicle does not start and apparently he is now brining in a mechanic from Audi to assist.<br> Through the whole process he has given none, or very little feedback to me, I have always had to phone the turbo place to find out what's going on. This mechanic never answers his phone.
