No value insurance!
Europ Assistance has once again lived up to their bad reputation here on hellopeter.com - booked a flight for parents in law to travel October/November 2017 - flight booked in May 2017. In June father in law break his back on several places and is paralyzed - cannot walk or sit. Additionally he get a blood clot. Already in June 2017 we get a doctors declaration on his condition saying he is unfit to fly and must go through treatments the next 8 months. In the hope that my father in law recover faster we wait with cancelling the flight until middle October, as we realize he is not fit for flying. We submit all requested documents and receive a rejection with the explanation - condition know at the time of booking??? Hello, ticket was booked in beginning of May 2017 and in middle June he has his accident with the back! How could we know he would have this accident already at the time of the booking? This just show that Europ Assistance reject any claim you will send no matter the condition and history. Complete worthless insurance, only their to drag the money out of your pocket! Don't ever use them is my recommendation!
