INCORRECT TYRES FITTED TO PORSCHE MACAN

I purchased a Porsche Macan S from Ayob Motors in Sandton. After travelling with it to my address in George I discovered that it had been fitted with the incorrect specification tyres. None of the tyres fitted comply to the N rating Porsche specification requiring N rated tyres to be fitted to all Porsches. Apart from this, 235/60R18 tyres instead of 255/55R18 tyres were fitted to the rear wheels. In the words of Porsche as stated on their website "The ‘N’ rating is unique to Porsche and only given to tyres that have been approved by Porsche engineers in Weissach. It is essential that only N rated tyres are fitted to your Porsche as the wrong speed or load ratings on your tyres could create a problem in the event of an insurance claim following an accident.” After I pointed all of this out to the dealer requesting that they replace the tyres with the correct ones, I received a phone call from the owner of the dealership during which he swore at me several times and also refused to assist me in any way, under the excuse that I had inspected the car prior to purchasing it and that they would not assist me in any manner to correct this problem. Apart from the above I am very happy with my purchase so far.
