Dealing with Zolile Mbanjwa of Ayazola Properties has not been a pleasant experience to say the least, we viewed a place with him in Avoca, Durban North. We decided that we want the place and proceeded to sign the necessary documents, including the lease agreement and paid the deposit and lease fee as well. I found out a few days later that I'll be getting retrenched and we asked if we could get our deposit back as we would no longer be able to take the place, understanding that the lease fee will be witheld. This request was turned down, understanding that the lease agreement was already signed by both parties. Later on the same day we were informed that the current tenants no longer wanted to move out so we'd get our deposit back. The next day our deposit was sent back minus the lease fee and an extra R1000. When addressing the issue with Zolile, he refused to pay the outstanding R1000 and said we can proceed with whatever action we want to take to the housing tribunal, e.t.c. This is a perfect example of dealing with ********* estate agents with a bad attitude, please be careful when dealing with Ayazola Properties and their agents, especially Zolile Mbanjwa. I'd advise on avoiding dealing them altogether
