**** iPhone 4

At the end of December 2015 I bought an Apple iPhone 4 16GB cellphone from Awok for 399 AED as a gift for my brother in South Africa. After having trouble with the cellphone (The cellphone was not able to read any form of sim card, the camera could not work at all and downloaded applications were not able to open) it was taken to an iStore in South Africa for further speculation. The technician from the iStore told me that all of the tools given with the phone (charger, usb cable, earphones) were **** parts, the phone was also thicker than the ORIGINAL iPhone 4 and they confirmed that the cellphone was a ****. They also looked for the serial number of the phone which is supposed to be located on the sim tray but it was NOT on the sim tray. The Serial number on the box of the phone was the only serial number and was put into the Apple database which revealed that the phone was purchased in the USA in the year of 1975. 1975? When the phone was returned to the UAE this month, I called up the customer services who thrashed any idea of me receiving a refund, and also telling me that this is not their problem. The cellphone that was purchased was not a 100% Genuine Product as promised.
