Worst Awesome tools by far
Worst experience ever. My leatherman surge broke while cutting styrofoam and they want to charge me over R500 to fix it due to misuse. Ive been a big leatherman fan for over 10 years, but now with theire new money making sceme called abuse, i would never spend another cent on a leatherman.
So much for the great warranty!!! Another giant has fallen, the start to the end of leatherman, using sub quality material and selling at top end price.

I am aware that you let our supervisor know how you felt when you visited our premises today and I am sure he explained that the 25 year warranty, which covers damaged due to defects in materials and workmanship, has not changed in nearly 40 years. I believe your Surge has damage to at least 5x parts which was due to accidental damage but is not covered by the warranty (replacement parts are charged at R140/part). We uphold the warranty as per the guidelines from Leatherman USA and may not deviate from their policies which are available on our website for scrutiny. I hope you understand.
