Led Lenser batteries destroys Led Lenser lights

Last year sometime I bought a Led Lenser SEO5 headlamp. It came packaged with a set of 3 Led Lenser branded batteries already installed with another spare set.<br> The second set were already in use when the torch failed to work. On opening the battery compartment I found that the Led Lenser batteries had leaked and obviously eaten or corroded various parts.<br> I subsequently contacted Awesome Tools via email explaining the above. They rep**** that their guarantee does not cover battery damage. So.....their own, branded Led Lenser batteries are ******* but they supply them with their torches. I could understand if I had bought some budget Chinese ******* batteries which leaked. If I had known that Led Lenser was also an unreliable brand I would not have made my original purchase. I have since replaced the headlamp with a Black Diamond product. I asked the sales person if he would please open up a Led Lenser package on their shelf so we could check the supp**** batteries. Lo and Behold...... Led Lenser must have realised that their own branded batteries were ******* as the new products contained Duracell batteries. Of course, this story gets repeated around braais and camps ad infinitum.
