Warning: Bad service

I would like to post a warning to anyone interested in using Awesome Moms. Let me tell you a bit about my story: I have been waiting for my UIF claim since submission in April. I have been dealing with Mariska- and have been told that there are numerous 'directors' of this Company, but I highly doubt it as she is the only one that we can deal with. I REALLY struggle to get info out of her. I have on occasion phoned a great number of times, just to probe a response. Firstly, my claim was handed in in KZN, and I am based in Pretoria. This means that in a case where my claim is not finalized , I cannot just go to the Department of Labour branch to try and rectify whatever might be wrong -I am in totality relying on response and assistance from Awesome moms. By saying "this is a national service" in the initial email certainly does not indicate to a consumer that you will not be able to access you claim unless to go to the specific branch that it was handed in to (in my case in a different province). I have asked Awesome moms numerous times why my claim is taking so long (as it is close to 20weeks now, which I have been told is WAY longer then claims usually take) and the response I got was that this Department of Labour branch is very slow. I find this unacceptable, as you are to provide the best service possible to your clients. Using a 'slow' department, is just bad customer service. I have then tried my best to contact the UIF contact lines to resolve this myself, but unfortunately I will have to travel to KZN to resolve this. As you can imagine, being on Maternity leave without UIF is quite difficult in it self, not mentioning having to travel to KZN to resolve. I have requested a refund from Awesome Moms as I feel that I have not been given the service that I was promised and I need to travel all the way to KZN to finalize my claim. I have not had ANY response from them regarding this. Please Moms/future moms, do not use this service, especially if you are not based in KZN!
