********** and Handed over for Debt Collection

In October 2013 I suffered a power surge that caused a circuit breaker to burn out in my DB board, called my homeassist component of my Insurance Customer Loyalty Consultants, who issued a job card to awesome electrical to effect repairs. Electrician came out replaced a circuit breaker worth about R75 and trimmed a few wire ends that had melted end and put in a bus bar worth about R30. The claim became problematic with the insurer who said my broker had moved me to Sanlam from, Mutual and federal, but I had uninterrupted cover. Awesome electrical contacted me about payment, and I complained about excessive charge for what was done. The owner told me he would reduce the amount to R900 but I never received this invoice. I also referred the owner of awesome Electrical to my broker several times but they did not follow through. a while later I receive a call from awesome electrical debt collection attorneys, to whom I also explained that I have uninterrupted insurance cover from 3 different insurer and that they should lodge the claim against the insurance company. Regardless Im now having to pay R5000 for something I could have fixed in 15minutes myself at a cost of less than R100.
