Avoca travel - Durban

I booked a tour with this travel agency and specifically requested a separate return flight for personal reasons. I have now had to change that return flight but they are making it impossible to do so, citing exorbitant costs ranging from R5000-R8000 to make that change. They appear to have booked my ticket in an inflexible way and are now making this my problem.
