Do not trust Avis!

Avis Menlyn charged me over R10k for a small chip in the windscreen of a c class car. I did not take the windscreen and tyre insurance because I only needed the car for 1 day. How is that possible? When I returned the car, I was told I was responsible for other damage as well which turned out to be pre existing. After complaining, I received a bill of R13k including the rental which was supposed to be only R850. I booked the car through Multiply, who should really reconsider who they partner with. Will never use Avis again.
