Avis ****med Me

I hired a car via a bank because it was reasonable, went to fetch the car at Avis Kimberly. The car is already paid, I got there and I was told to pay R13000 as a deposit I did just that. I asked the gentleman that was assisting me if they’ll be any charges for dropping off the car at another destination he said yes and he mentioned R1400 charge. Cool I didn’t have a choice but to agree to pay it.

The Sunday I called Lanseria for drop off, the lady said km supposed to drop the car at 10 am but there’s a grace period of 29mims great, I arrived there exactly at 10:28 I handed over the keys. I was told to leave the car needs to be checked out first. The car is full tank, no scratch, windscreen is perfect, no tollgates and no traffic tickets.

The following day I get a statement from them, I was charged an extra day of R815 + insurance of more than Rl000 + R 2000 drop off. I then called Lanseria Avis I spoke to some lady explained everything to her, she was also shocked and said she’s going to talk to her boss it’s been 8 days now waiting for them to contact me. I’ve always been using Avis for years now but this time they showed me flames Avis ****med me.
