Avis Budget Rental Horror Before Paying Back My Money

Booked a car "VITO" on 13th Dec 2024 from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg, Gauteng province to only drop it off on 21st Dec 2024. I am yet to receive the rental reservation money rerfund. I have been calling these guys, endlessly and I will hold while listening the automated voice "where she keeps saying we have high call volumes on repeat". Anyway, to day I call the AVIS call center and get told, I have taken a VW T6 on the above from date and returned it at OR International Airport in Johannesburg, Gauteng province. The car also has a damage recorded. No one has called me to give me updates or feedback on this. The agent tells me the booking should have been closed on the 23rd Dec 2024. It is the 30th Dec 2024 now.

I have been asked to call the branch... I am not even sure if this call will be answered as I am over 20 minutes waiting for the next available agent.

What a waste
