04 Dec 2023, 16:07Dear Talisa,
Thank you for your patience.
We have investigated your matter and the following has been established:
Avis requests your bank to reserve a temporary authorisation hold against the funds of your card.Your bank will usually present this as a pending transaction that reduces the money you have available to spend. This might appear as a debit on your statement, but it is not.
No funds are debited from your bank account.
Due to No additional charges being billed directly to you. The authorization amount was automatically released back into your available balance. A request was sent through to the bank, who confirmed this.
However due to this being a personal card, No further information can be supp**** to us, such as the date of the release. You may contact your bank directly in order to acquire this information.
Thank you.
